A Parting of Sorts

We parted ways,
In quite a dramatic way.
to hide the drama
He just walked away.
I had my backed turned,
As casual as possible.
As if it is an everyday parting.
Or, ours was only a casual meeting.
"Nice to meet you" was uttered
Even more casually.
And, no reply was given!
